Media and sponsorship

Building on the successful World Cup campaigns of 2003-06 Salford will implement an intensive high profile media and promotional campaign. It is expected that BBC Sport will provide live or recorded coverage of the championships. In addition, event exposure via the ITU global broadcast package is expected to reach over 150 countries.

In addition, should Salford win the chance to host the 2010 BG Triathlon World Championships, there will be a huge number of sponsorship opportunities available from barrier boards to corporate hospitality, all of which will be guaranteed to reach an expected global audience of over 1 billion.
